| General description | Supelco is a recognized leader in support-coated open tubular （SCOT） column technology. Our unsurpassed manufacturing technique allows us to deposit a uniform layer of liquid phase-coated support particles on the inner wall of the stainless steel tubing. This technology, originally developed by PerkinElmer, gives us access to many phases that are inaccessible to conventional wall-coated open tubular capillary column manufacturing technology. SCOT columns combine the sensitivity and excellent sample resolution of capillary GC with the extensive stationary phase library of packed column GC. Typically, our SCOT columns are used to analyze the following compound classes: • Bentone 34/DNDP: xylenes • TCEP: aromatics • BMEA: olefins • Squalane: boiling point separations |
