The programmable EDS 4100 pressure switch in ATEX version was developed specially for utilisation in explosion-hazard atmospheres on the basis of the EDS 4000 series. The switching and reset point, the function of the switching output as opener or closer and the switching delay are freely programmable with the HYDAC programming device HBG 3000. In accordance with the industry design, the programmable EDS 4100 in ATEX version is equipped with a ceramic measuring cell with thick-layer DMS for absolute pressure measurement in the low-pressure range. With approval for the protective classes and areas of application:

• II 1G Ex ia IIC T4, T5, T6
• II 1/2G Ex ia IIC T4, T5, T6

practically all requirements are met with respect to ignition group, error and temperature class. Versions for other protection classes and areas of application are available upon request.
