The newly developed MagCellect™ Human Blood
Myeloid Dendritic Cell Isolation Kit （Catalog #
MAGH120） is designed to isolate all reported
myeloid dendritic cell （mDC） subpopulations from
human blood samples. Approximay one million
mDCs are obtained per 100 million PBMCs
processed. In contrast to other currently available
kits, enriched mDCs remain untouched by
antibodies throughout the isolation procedure.
In addition, this kit can be used to enrich for the
recently identifi ed CD16+ and CD56+ mDC subpopulations
（Figure 1）. Functional analysis of the
enriched mDCs confi rms that the isolated cells
are capable of inducing T cell proliferation in mixed
leukocyte reactions （Data not shown）.
